Los Alamos is sending five young cowboys and cowgirls to the National High School Rodeo Finals. This year the finals will be held in Farmington, N.M., from July 20-25.
Representing California High School Rodeo Association District 7 at the California High School Rodeo State Finals in Bishop from June 15-21, the student wranglers had to finish in the top four in their events to qualify for the Nationals.
Lindsey Milner earned a spot in the Nationals by wining the championship in Girls Cutting. Jacob Pinheiro won the Boys Cutting.
