A new health center, Lighthouse Chiropractic, has been established by Mary R. Kaltenbach, D.C., in downtown Solvang.

A 1991 graduate of Life Chiropractic College West, Kaltenbach specializes in Bio-Geometric Integration, named one of the “Ten Great Chiropractic” approaches by American Chiropractor magazine.

Kaltenbach said Bio-Geometric Integration releases stored energy from physical, psychological and chemical stresses that a body cannot fully integrate.

Lighthouse Chiropractic also offers adjunct services to promote holistic well-being, including Reiki, raindrop therapy with therapeutic essential oils, tonic herbalism, aromatherapy and wellness assessments and workshops.

Initially, hours at the office at 1607 Mission Drive, Suite 301 will be limited to 5:30 to 7 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays, 9 a.m. to noon Saturdays and by appointment.

A grand opening is set for 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 15, with a Solvang Chamber of Commerce ribbon-cutting ceremony set for 9 a.m. Friday, Nov. 24.
