At Santa Ynez, Tyler Shean ran for two scores and passed for two more as the Pirates ran their record to 2-0 in head coach Ken Gruendyke’s return with a 41-22 win over Lompoc.

Jake Morehart caught two touchdown passes for Lompoc (0-2).

Oaks Christian transfer Scotty Arellano rushed 17 times for 92 yards and caught five passes for 70 yards in his team’s win.
