Clover 4-H Report

Lucky Clover 4-H held its monthly meeting on Monday, Nov. 3, at the Grange Hall in Los Olivos.

The meeting was called to order at 7 p.m. by president Ashlee Shelly. Emma Andersen took roll call, then read the minutes of last month's meeting. Alexandra Jones and Greg Daphne gave the treasurer's report. Izack Romero and his mom, Chantel Romero, explained the details of the See's Candy fundraiser. Reporter Clara Jones talked about newspaper articles, and then Randy Jones and Cathy Shelly gave community leader reports.

Club project reports were given on beef by Yvette Stevenson, sheep report by Cathy Shelly, swine report by Randy Jones, goat report by Robin Flynn, poultry report by Lisa Grossini, and scrapbooking report by Sherry Musgrove.

Then, Christin Pace and Lisa Grossini talked about membership and how many members are in the club. Next, the club discussed unfinished business and new business. The meeting was adjourned by president Ashlee Shelly. Members with November birthdays stood at the front of the room while the club sang "Happy Birthday" to them. The next meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. Dec. 1 at the Grange Hall in Los Olivos.

The See's Candy sales fundraiser is one of the club's major sources of income. The candies make great gifts for the holidays and help support the club. If you would like to purchase some See's Candy, contact any member of Lucky Clover 4-H or visit us at www.luckyclover4-h.org.
